No, I am not 40 (yet) but I recently attended the 40th birthday party for dear friend and collegue who has reached this oft lamented age.
I was having serious wardrobe anxiety as it was FREEZING that night and I was totally at a loss what to wear. I wanted to wear a sweater, but the one I had planned on just looked too bulky. I remembered that I had this great purple sweater that was warm but form fitting – and the colour is awesome! As I had to take the photos inside, they don’t quite do the outfit justice, but I felt great and got compliments all night long (I didn’t hold a candle to the birthday girl, who was stunning!)
